This site was started in 1990 as a single page with a simple Bible quiz. Over the years, it has expanded to what it is today. Because of its age and heritage, it looks a little old-fashioned, much like its author, but it does provide a useful resource for those interested in using it. No information is taken from visitors, there are no advertisements, no nagging, no registration is required, and no reach-out for money or a required credit card. An 80-year-old "saved" Protestant Christian runs this online, informative, and private website as a hobby. The author operates, writes, inserts comments, maintains, and foots the entire bill for its operations.
To keep the snail mail and phone call spam to a minimum, the author is known only by his lifelong nickname of Daveed and lives in sunny Florida, where it is warm on his aging bones.

Why this website?
The idea is to expose people to the Bible and promote involvement and educate them in Christianity.
This is done by providing fun quizzes with additional details and facts concerning the subject of the question.
Also, the website provides several pages of general information for general knowledge and education.
In the beginning (1990s) of this website endeavor, not much was online for Bible information seekers.
This author decided to start one. I thought a simple quiz about the Bible would introduce it to newcomers and let familiar guests test their knowledge for entertainment.
As time passed, I became exuberant and periodically added to the site's content not only for entertainment but also for education, reflection, and enlightenment
I believe this site contains more questions than any other website, with over 500 different questions ranging from children's Sunday School easy to in-depth study difficult.

This site exposes Christians and non-Christians alike to the Protestant Christian Bible and Christianity in general. It provides guests with themed quizzes to test their knowledge of God’s Word and learn about inspiring and stimulating scripture trivia.

There are two favorite Bibles used as references on this site.
The first is the New King James Version (NKJV), because it has been the most widely used Bible over time. Unfortunately, it is written in old English of the 1600s and can be difficult to understand.
The second one, most often used, is the New International Version (NIV) because it uses modern verbiage and words that are up-to-date and understandable in modern English.
All questions have specific and clear biblical references.
Bible references are included so the quest can verify that what they're reading and learning is truly biblical.
Additional commentary and notes and links to other online sources are frequently given to expound on the subject for better understanding, clearer meaning, and additional information.
